1.HOW DOI USE CARBONIZED RICE HULL?

·Assubstrate to organic fertilizer

Whenmix with other organic materials, CRH can be a good source of organicfertilizer (OF). The basic mixture of organic fertilizer consists of animalmanure (4parts), CRH (4parts), rice bran (1part), and compost (1part).

·As soilconditioner/ ameliorant

Incorporating10-15bags (10kg/bag) of organic fertilizer with CRH into 20 plots of seedbed at1m x 20m each plot (400sqm)

·Aswater purifier/ wastewater filter

Activatedcarbon from CRH filters the dirty particles in water, making it effectivepurifying household/drinking water.

·As basematerial for making microbial inoculants (Mls)

30-50%of CRH is mixed with Mls, habitat for beneficial microorganisms that facilitatecomposting.

·As pestcontrol agent

Owingto its natural black color, CRH retains heat from the sun. It also containssilica that irritates the snails

CRHcleanses and deodorizes bad air smell through its activated carbon that absorbsfoul odors in the air.
