·Bymixinginricehullsto yoursoil, they will improve soil drainage, water holdingcapacity and aeration.

·They are non-toxic and biodegradable and feedthe soil as they break down.

1.HOW DO I USE RICE HULL?

·For thegarden–spread about a two” layer across the surface when you fertilize inthe spring and mix it into the top 6–12″ of soil.

·Forpotted plants–mix 10–50% rice hulls into your potting soil.

·You canalso use rice hulls as a mulch, just like you’d use straw.

·Ricehulls are extremely lightweight, so they’re especially ideal for rooftop gardening or other gardens that require an amendment to make your soil lighter.
